Black Chroni-Queens

Inspired by the story of Nana Yaa Asantewaa, a warrior woman who helped defend the Golden Stool of the Asante Kingdom against the British colonialists in the early 20th century, they take control of their chronicle and write their own history. Queenship Resilient Black Women is celebrated in the context of Afrofuturism and neo-African dance practices to shape a new ecosphere.
